Smith Lake's Sipsey Fork, Wilderness Hideaway, and Robinson Bottoms

Located just outside of Double Springs, Alabama, these 3 areas make up the western-most part of Winston County's Lewis Smith Lake.  Plans are in place for the construction of a Dude Ranch, complete with riding trails, boarding and complete Equestrian care and facilities.  This area is also surrounded by Bankhead National Forrest and the lake is fed by the Sipsey River, designated as Alabama's only wild and scenic river.  Very private and secluded, this community is a nature lover's dream and it has only recently began to see some of the development that we are seeing explode on other areas of Smith Lake.
